Craftin Desert Divas - June Digi Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog!

Here is a second project for the June Digi Challenge - Coffee!

Get yours here! Tipsy Cups Digital Stamp

I printed my tipsy cups on water color paper and added a sentiment down the side. I decided that I wanted to make this a shaker card so I used an Exacto knife and cut the middles out of each cup. I decided to use Pastel Paradise CDD sequins. I colored the cups with Zig Clean Color markers. I then used the Outdoor Landscape die on the side because I wanted to show off more of my background paper.

Make sure you head over to the Craftin' Desert Divas Gallery Facebook page and participate in our challenge! Everyone is a winner with a free Digi Stamp to all participants!

A - MOOSE - ING

Father's Day

I die cut my base panel with Lawn Fawns largest stitched rectangle die from a light brown paper, I use this die for like every card that I do, its just really nice to not have to worry about getting my panel straight and I know that it will fit on my card front. I then cut a 1 inch strip from black paper and put that kinda in the middle. Eh, I can't get anything straight! LOL!

The small square was die cut from some actual wood paper that I got from MFT in the April card kit, I like it, its pretty cool cuz it's like a sheet of wood. I figured it would be some good texture for my card.

I used Lawn Fawns new Dad+Me set, it is really adorable! I stamped the big moose and then stamped the funny glasses on top, I was really happy that I did not have to do any masking. I colored him in with Zig Clean Color markers. I die cut a circle around my funny moose. I added some Virginia Turtle glitter enamel dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set with Simon Says Stamp black ink.

My dad is gonna LOVE this card! I told my sister about it while she was visiting last weekend and thought it was hilarious! It's gonna be good!

Stamping Smiles Designs / Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

You Make Me Happy When Skies Are Grey

I chose Inlaid Design/Monochromatic/Scalloped Border.

I decided to paper piece the  MFT Die-namics Layered umbrella for this card. I used Lawn Fawn papers, Black card stock for my base,  Guava card stock for my scalloped edge panel. I used the Wildflower line dance and small polka dots from the Lawn Fawn Polka in the Meadow paper pad for the umbrella. I used regular white card stock for my top panel since I wasn't doing any coloring.

I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Bring the Sunshine set, using LF Guava and Manatee inks. I added Wink of Stella to the black uper part o fthe umbrella, the handle and the word grey in the sentiment and finished it off with some glittery dots.

This card is for the following challenges:

CRAFTIN DESERT DIVAS JUNE DIGI CHALLENGE - COFFEE

Hello and welcome to my blog!

This is my first post as a Digi Design Team member for Craftin Desert Divas! I am so excited about this and look forward to the great designs in the coming months!

The June digi challenge is Coffee!

Get yours here! Coffee Couple Digital Stamp

I started by printing my sentiment on some water color paper, I had planned on printing the cute coffee couple as well but I was having a moment so I cut them from vinyl with my Cricut Explore and added them to my panel. I also cut a mask of the coffee couple so that I could cover the image and do the color splashes. I used Distress Ink for the splashes and also to color in the images. I added a ribbon between my panels and finished with some shades of brown sequins. Oh! I also added this little glittered heart that I had laying around in between the cute couple!

Make sure you head over to the Craftin' Desert Divas Gallery Facebook page and participate in our challenge! Everyone is a winner with a free Digi Stamp to all participants!
