Rocket Pop Star Shaker Clip

Rocket Pop Star Shaker Clip

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

To make these paper clip shakers I cut two base shapes and one frame.
I cut the acetate with the base shape die and attached it to the frame.

I like my paper clips to sit inside my planner,
I do not like them when they stick out of the top so that
is why I attach the pieces to the paper clip like this.

I placed one base shape in the paper clip and placed a layer of foam tape.
This is how the shaker will attach to the paper clip.
On the smaller one I used hot glue instead of foam tape, either one works well!

I added foam tape to my frame. . .

Added sequins. . .

and added the backing.

Then I removed all the backing on the foam tape and attached it to the shaker.

For the smaller one I die cut the back from paper covered in washi tape!

.
The big one is about the size of my palm,
in this picture it is in a B6 planner.
I will use it decorate the inside cover of my planner.

For this card I used the

Scootin' By To Say. . .

Scootin' By To Say. . .

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I started with die cutting my top panel and stamping the sentiment.

I stamped these images from Lawn Fawn Scootin' By stamp set.
I colored them with copic markers and die cut them out.

I assembled my images on the card front,
I used winks of Stella on the dirt cloud and balloons,
and a black glaze pen on the wheels.

I used foam tape and closed in my sequins with a second layer of acetate.
I chose a pink speckled background for the shaker window.

Then I added sequins to the front to finish the card.
I used the new Sparkle stick to place these sequins.
That stick is amazing!!
I usually use tweezers and end up with sequins flying all over my desk!
This stick made them so easy to pick up and and released great also!!

For this card I used the Subtle Rainbow Sparkle Blend
that will be part of the June release, Available on June 4th.

It really is a great subtle rainbow mix and I love the little rainbows!

Poppin' Up To Say. . .

Poppin' Up To Say. . .

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

For this card I used a shaker card kit from Queen and Co.
It included the card, foam spacer, acetate sheet and a cover cut out.

I placed a base panel on my card so my shaker
windows would have a colored background.

I placed the foam piece so I could figure out where to stamp my sentiments. .  .
Perfectly lined up after one re-do!

Then I removed the backing paper and
attached the foam piece to the card.

I added the sequins.
I glued a few sequins to the background
so that they would always show in the window.

Then I placed the top panel onto the card.

This was a great kit to use, it lined up very easily.

I pulled these images from my pre-stamped stash
and colored them to go with my sequins.

I put a slit in the toaster so my pastry
looks like it is poppin' out.

Then I added sequins to the
front to finish the card.

For this card I used the Wonderland Sparkle Blend

I picked out the wonderland themed
pieces so I could make a
non-wonderland card.

Now I have lots of extra elements for when
I use the blend on a themed card!

Zesty Birthday!

Zesty Birthday!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Hello! I am here with a sneak peek to Doodles Paper Playgrounds April Release! The release goes live on Friday April 2nd, and you can get a full reveal with Alison over on the Doodles Paper Playground Facebook page on Thursday night!

For this card I used a blend called Lemonade!

I started by making a blended background with alcohol inks on Yupo paper.

Since I used Yupo paper I was able to use the alcohol lift ink
and a stencil to put a design in the background.

I added some metallic yellow watercolor splashes to my base.

I used the Fawn Fawn Make Lemonade set and colored them with copic markers.

I pieced together this sentiment and white heat embossed it on the black paper.

I made this an edgeless shaker card so I cut my acetate to
fit on my base panel and create a pouch.

I added the banner and images.

Then I dumped some sequins into the pouch and closed up the top!

I attached it to the card base with some score tape!

I love this blend!

A good actual yellow mix of sequins is hard to find and this one is perfect!
Don't forget to join us on Thursday over at the
