Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Hello!

I just got some awesome shaker bits from Queen and Co and I just couldn't wait to use them!

I also got this shaker card kit, so it was super easy to make this card!

I used Lawn Fawn's Loveable Ledgends and chose the Nessie, she is just to cute! I colored her with copic markers and die cut her out. I also did the same with her party hat. They both got some white accents with a jelly roll pen and some glitter stickles.

I added color to the top panel with some distress ink, just to give it that underwater color. I also stamped on some bubbles.

I tried to get an ombre effect with my shaker bits so I used only blue at the bottom and incorporated clear/silver as I moved up, using only clear/silver at the top. I think it turned out great!

I will entering this card in the following challenge:

YNS - Sketch and Color Challenge #46 - Happy Birthday

Your Next Stamp Challenge # 46

Here is my card for the YNS Challenge # 46

I choose to follow the sketch, but also choose to turn it upside down.

The frog is from the YNS mini sticky note stamp.
I used the coordinating die to cut him out.
I colored him with ZIg Clean Color Markers.

I also used the YNS scalloped star edge die to get the little green stars and added a few green sequins.

Make sure you check out all the other great submissions for this challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

Craftin' Desert Divas August Digi Stamp Challenge - Watercolor - Sleeping on the Moon

Hello!

There is still plenty of time to add your project to the digi stamp challenge for August over at the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook page!

Theme: Watercolor!

We would love to see all of your projects using Craftin Desert Divas Digi stamps that fit this theme!
Here is my project!

Isn't this just the cutest sleeping bear you've ever seen!?!

I printed her out on watercolor paper and gave the image the watercolor look using Distress Inks and a water brush. It is a really easy technique and looks great!
I used CDD Stiched in Circle dies on the image and used CDD Banner dies to cut the purple panel. I used a VersaMark pen on the star and heat embossed it with Platinum embossing powder. I couldn't call my card finished without adding some glitter enamel dots!
We hope you will share your projects with us at the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook
Don't forget about the prize!
Every participant will receive a code for one Craftin Desert Divas digi stamp of their choice, to be redeemed the following month!

Plan with Me - August 15th - 21st

Plan with Me Video up on my You Tube channel!

Normally I try to explain what I am doing and spend way to much time editing my video so I am trying something new with my plan with me video. I simply filmed it as I did it and will add either a voice over or a caption if there is something that needs said. Hopefully this will make it easier for me and make me want to continue to do videos! We will see. . . .

I also was against using stickers in my planner, and I think I need to clarify. I am against putting a sticker on every inch of my planner, sticker squares. I guess I am a "white space" planner. I am ok with using decorative stickers. This weeks spread I stamped on label paper, colored with Prismacolor colored pencils and die cut them out, creating my very own stickers! This was fun and since I am trying to free up a little more space to stamp in my planner, I am positive I will continue to do this when I can.

So anyways. . . . .

I used the following stamp sets:

Craftin Desert Divas:
Beyond Measure Stamps and Dies

Sweet Stamp Shop:
Plan to Go          Plan School
     Plan Fitness        Rupert Tracker
Time For             Dragon

Studio L2e:
      Plan It                 Iconic Borders 2

Thanks for stopping by, See you next time!

Sweet Stamp Shop - Churromazing

Sweet Stamp Shop had a mini birthday release with this adorable churro stamp set free!
Now they are having a challenge to see what we did with the free stamp!

First I stamped the hands on white card stock. I used a masking pen to be able to stamp the churros to make it like they were being held. I colored the churros with a brown Wink of Stella pen, going over every other line twice to make those ones darker. I used this shaker from a Lawn Fawn set and also colored it with a brown Wink of Stella pen, so it's a cinnamon shaker!

I used a random alphabet set for my sentiment, I used a versa mark pen and wrote cinnamon and then heat embossed it with liquid platinum powder. I was going to remove the excess powder that got on my other words but then I figured I would leave it, kinda like cinnamon getting all over.

Normally I leave the insides of my cards blank but the stamp had this adorable saying! I die cut a white panel and stamped it so I could add it to the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping bye!!

Here is what I made..

I stamped and die cut the pencil, crayon and glue from the Beyond Measure set and colored them with prismacolor colored pencils. My base panel is a pice of chalkboard paper, I white heat embossed the A+ to look like chalk writing. I placed a piece of alphabet washi tape on the base panel so that it would show through at the top portion of the shaker window.  I die cut the red flag with a circle cut out for the shaker window and used a mixture of CDD sequins.

Here are all the CDD products I used:

Craftin' Desert Divas August Digi Stamp Challenge - Watercolor - Giraffes

Hello! We have a new digi stamp challenge for August over at the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook page!

Theme: Watercolor!

We would love to see all of your projects using Craftin Desert Divas Digi stamps that fit this theme!

Here is my project!

I used Giraffe Pilot and Tractor Giraffe Digi Stamps
Get yours here!

My sister had twin boys in June, when I saw these I knew they would be perfect for their nursery!

I printed them out on watercolor paper to be about 5x7. I colored these images with Zig Clean Color Markers and used a waterbrush to spread the color around for the watercolor look.

This is my favorite way to color these great digi images!

I am going to frame them and turn them into wall art.

We hope you will share your projects with us at the Craftin Desert Divas Gallery Facebook

Don't forget about the prize!

Every participant will receive a code for one Craftin Desert Divas digi stamp of their choice, to be redeemed the following month!
