NEW LITTLE ONE

Congratulations On The New Little One

People around me are havin babies! I thought I should whip up some cards and started with this one. . .
I used a stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps called New Little One. I stamped the blanket and little girl in black versafine and then clear heat embossed it. I colored the image in with Prismacolor colored pencils and blended with some gamsol.

I cut my base panels with Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies. I added the sentiment and finished the card off with some pink glitter enamel dots. I also recently, like yesterday, got an edge trimmer so I used it and rounded all the the corners on my card. I really like how it looks.

Christmas Series - Merry Christmas - March

Hello!

I have decided that this year I was going to try to do my Christmas cards through out the year. I sent a lot less cards than I wanted to because I waited till the last minute and just couldn't make enough cards. For 2017 I am going to be doing a set of Christmas Cards each month. . .

Here is my set for March. . . .

For my March cards I did some resist embossing. I took water color paper and double stamped one of the frame stamps from the Strawberry Jude Stamp set tag It: Christmas. I used Versamark and clear embossing powder. After I heat set that I used my watercolors and  covered the panel in different shades of green.

After the water coloring dried I took the Merry Christmas sentiment form the set and stamped it in a dark green. Then I die cut it with an stitched oval from Lawn Fawn.

For my base panel I have these white papers that are embossed with a design, I picked one that kinda looked Christmas-y and used the largest LF stitched rectangle die to die cut it. I attached my green oval to the front. I dug through my Christmas decoration stickers and found some embellishments to put on the front!

I like how these ones turned out. . . I actually had to do the green part twice. The first time I tried to use a glittery embossing powder but it didn't work out that well!

Sending You Sunshine

Sending You Sunshine

I made this card using Strawberry Jude Stamp Hello Sunflower

This stamp is so pretty! I decided to do some no line coloring with it. I stamped it on some water color paper using Antique Linen distress ink and colored it in with a water brush and distress inks.

I added a sentiment from the card in one of the colors that I used on the flower. I trimmed it down so that I could have this great yellow card base act as a frame. Then I took some ribbon and put it on the end and also tied a bow from the same ribbon and added it to the corner. I finished the card with some glitter enamel dots! Surprise! LOL!

PLAN WITH ME - MARCH 13 THRU MARCH 19 - LUCKY

PLAN WITH ME - MARCH 13 THRU MARCH 19 - LUCKY

Plan With Me Video For St. Patrick's Day week!

This video is a little different, I am using planner stickers! I normally only use stamps, but I have fallen into the Sticker world, just like I fell into the Stamp world. . .

Stickers kinda stress me out, I feel like when I use them it takes me a lot longer to do my spread because I don't know where to put them! I am a white space planner so if I get a whole kit there are lots of stickers left over because I don't use them all. . .

Anyways if I seem a little lost during this video its because stickers throw me for a loop! Crazy I know. . . .

Thanks for watching my video, if you like it don't forget to give it a thumbs up and follow me over on Instagram!

Berry Wings Planner Clip

Sooo. . . . I feel like I just want to make cute little paper clips all of the time! They are super easy and soooo cute!

I made this one using the Berry Wings from Strawberry Jude Stamps. . .

First I stamped him out and colored him using PrismaColor Colored Pencils. Then I used my pix scan mat and my silhouette portrait to cut him out and to also cut out the backing that was a little bit bigger to give it an edge.

I gathered my Supplies. . . .
Paper Clip - Jumbo Size
Scor-Tape
Stamped Image
Backing

First I positioned my backing. I set up the paperclip to have the long portion be the back of my clip. I prefer to have my clip inside my book/binder, not sticking out of the top so that is why I placed my backing as I did. If you wanted the paperclip to stick out above your book/binder your would place your cut out at the top of the paperclip. . .

Next, I added scor-tape to the back of my colored image, and burnished it on really well before removing the tape covering. . .

Then you just center your colored image and press it together really well to make sure it is adhered well!

Seriously!  That is it!

I know I will be making quite a few of these!

Homemade Love

Homemade Love

I created my own background using the cupcakes. I stamped them in a light grey and then covered them in wink of stella, you can't tell in the picture but they are very sparkly! I cut that panel down using the second biggest die in the Lawn Fawn Stitched rectangle die set and I put it on a pink card base.

I stamped the mixer a bowl and the same two cupcakes that I used for the back ground and colored them in with tombow markers. Then I cut them out with my silhouette and used some foam tape to adhere them to the front panel.

Creature Hello

Hello!

I am taking part in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Usually I just color images to be used on a card at a later point but for this one I chose to make an actual card.

I used the Creatures Great and Small Set from Strawberry Jude Stamps. I stamped it with some copic friendly ink on to some neenah paper. Then I colored it them with Copic markers. . I am new to copics and am still building my collection so I still need lots of practice!  You cant tell in the picture but I added some wink of stella to the snail shell. . .that little snail is my favorite stamp in this set. I made my base panel kraft papaer and added a few brown glitter enamel dots to finish off the card.

I think this card turned out pretty cute, I usually do multiple layers on my cards so this single layer was a nice little change for me.
