Daily Routine

Daily Routine. . . .

I used a stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps,  Awesome Memes for this card.

I started by stamping this lovely, tea sippin' lady twice with some copic friendly ink and then obviously colored her with copic markers.

I stamped the sentiment in a regular back ink. Then I used this fancy die to cut the panel down to fit on my card front. I choose a glittery pink cardstock for my back ground to go with the dress so I also added a few pink glitter enamel dots.

I put the panel at an angle, I am horrible at lining things up correctly so this always saves me some time!

When Life Is Hard. . . .

When Life Is Hard. . .

I just love this Rainbows and Roses stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps. This sentiment is just great! I instantly though of doing a stormy weather card with a bright rainbow on the inside!

For my stormy front I used a panel cut from the same grey card stock that I used for the card base. I inked the edges so that it would stand out form the card base. I stamped everything with a matching grey ink to get a low key, tone on tone look. I did add a bit of blue stickles to the raindrops.

On the inside I used a white panel for my sentiment. I stamped and cut my rainbow with watercolors and cut a few extra clouds that I put some glitter stickles on. I put a few clouds on the bottom panel  and  I put the bright rainbow on the top flap so that the recipient will "look up" to see it!

Thanks

Thanks

I made this card for my friend to give out as thank you cards for her baby shower.

I stamped the stork from LF PLus One set with Copic friendly ink, colored it and die cut it out.I used the Thanks Twice die from Create a Smile for my word.

I cut my white base panel with the second largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die and used a cloud embossing folder on it. I attached it to a pink card base and then added my stork and word.

Super easy, good thing since I have quite a few more to make!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday!

I created this card using a silhouette box card file and the new stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps called Rainbows and Roses.

I cut the box card file and put it all together. I created a blue watercolor page and used that to cut my decorative panels from it to put on the box instead of having a flat blue color. I also used the solid cloud stamp to add some clouds.

I stamped the images on some water color paper and used my silhouette to cut them out. I colored my rainbow with watercolors and added glitter stickles to all of my clouds. Some I filled in all the way and others I just did an outline.

I also cut some puffy clouds to use as a base to attach my single clouds to. On one cloud I used clear acetate so that I could get it float above and behind the other clouds.

I love making box cards! They really are easy and look great!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I decided to break out my watercolors to make a few mothers day cards. . . I have three to send out so I decided to make them the same but change up the colors. I used the Rainbows and Roses stamp set form Strawberry Jude Stamps.

I started with my watercolor panel. I prepped them with an anti-static powder tool and I used versa mark with some clear embossing powder. After heat setting my image I used some watercolor over the embossed area to bring out the image.

While I let those dry I cut my base panels and mom die from coordinating cardstock.

I created a custom sentiment by using two different stamps from SJS Squirrel Mail and SJS Love is in the Air. I used my mini Misit and stamped the sentiments about three times each to get a good clear image.

Then I layered my watercolor panel onto my base panel, added the mom die cut and added some enamel dots. While doing this I realized that I needed one of my cards to say Grandma. I don't have a die for that so I used my Silhouette Portrait to cut the word out in vinyl. I attached them to my card bases and voila!

Your Awesomeness Amazes Me

Your Awesomeness Amazes Me

I cut my white panel using stitched rectangle die from Lawn Fawn and stamped this cute little bunny from Strawberry Jude Stamps set Creatures Great and Small right in the middle. I colored him in with PrismaColor colored pencils and gave him some grass to sit on.

For the speech bubble. I used versa mark to stamp my sentiment from the Strawberry Jude Stamp set Awesome Memes and then clear heat embossed it. I then used a few different distress inks to color over the embossing and flicked and dabbed some water for so texture. I cut it with a Lawn Fawn die. I used some foam tape to attach it to my panel and added some matching sequins.

I think this card turned out really cute!
