Baby, It's Cold Outside

Baby, It's Cold Outside

I started by making a card base and die cutting the circle window.

I used the sentiment from Winter Alpaca and stamped it in LF Lobster Ink. I used LF Joy to the Woods for the ornaments on the front of the card and colored the ornaments with Wink of Stella fine glitter dust pens and added a few glitter enamel dots.

Then I used Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca and stamped the Alpaca in the middle of the circle. I colored the image with prismacolor colored pencils. I added a few white highlights to the scarf with a white gel pen. I used the rest of the Alpaca sentiment and the Merry Christmas is also from the Joy to the Woods set.

Lawnscaping - Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I used Lawn Fawn Hats Off to You for the witch hat, and a mermaid from Mermaid for you. I colored them with Zig clean color markers and put some pink stickles on the witch hat.

I used the Halloween pumpkin and wording from LF Plan on it: Holidays set for the sentiment and put it on a Stiched Labels die using white embossing powder.

I used Lawn Fawn dies for my top panel and to put the shaker window in it. I used some random pink and purple sequins then added some Craftin Desert Divas orange star confetti and purple, pink and orange Queen and Co diamond shaker bits.

Happy Birthday To One Smart Cookie

Happy Birthday To One Smart Cookie

I used Lawn Fawn stamp sets To a Fungi and Smart Cookie.

I stamped the image, colored it with both Tombow markers and Zig Clean Color markers then die cut. I used Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles and ovals to create my base. I mixed the sentiments from the stamp sets to create my sentiment for this card.

I used a mini balloon die set from Your Next Stamp to create this little balloon. I colored it with Distress Ink in Carved Pumpkin. I tied a black thread to it and used a foam dot to adhere it to the card then covered it in glossy accents.

I finished the card off with some glittered enamel dots.

Lawnscaping Challenge #130 - Sparkle It Up!

Best Fishes!

For the background I cut a base panel from Lawn Fawn blue jay card stock using the largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die. I cut three panels from watercolor paper using the 2nd largest Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die and used the Ocean Wave border die to cut two layers of waves from two of the panels. I used Distress Inks to get the gradient ocean coloring. I cut the ocean floor from kraft paper with a Stitched Hillside die.

I cut all my images from watercolor paper and colored them with my Zig clean color markers, I love those things! I added stickles to each image, either totally covering it or just in certain places. I had a ton of pieces colored and cut and had to down-size, cuz my card is only so big!

I admit, Lawn Fawn is my favorite!

I got all the Lawn Fawn stamp sets that had to do with underwater creatures so that I could make a massive card with tons of stuff on. Hadn't done it yet, but that's why I got them. . .

The new release!!!! Is amazing!!! Totally inspired!!!!! The Mermaid for You set is at the top of my list as it fits into my plans! Not to mention Kelly Marie totally did a card that is like what I planned on making, So I decided to go ahead and make my card! I will have to make another one once I get that set!

Thank you and see you next time!

Lawnscaping Challenge #129 : Calling All Critters

Hello Baby Boys!

I started with a base panel or white pearl paper die cut with the largest Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle  die. My next panel I stepped down a size and used a blue polka dot paper, I wanted my shaker background to have some color. I stepped down one more size for my top panel. I die cut a circle out of the panel and just left it white.

Using LF Fish Tank ink I stamped BABY BOY from the LF Little Bundle set and added an S from one of the other sentiments.

The HELLO is a Simon Says Stamp die, I used the same blue polka dot paper and added a little Chipped Sapphire Distress ink to the edges.

I used the flying stork from the LF Plus One set, I wanted this for twins so I added a bundle from the LF Hello Baby set. These were all colored using Zig Clean Color Markers. So its a shaker card, I added acetate to the back of my panel and lots of foam dots. I used a mix of any blue sequins that I had and threw in a little of the Nautical sparkle mix by Little Things (Just got those sand they are so adorable!) and some off white seed beads.

So one of my little sisters is preggo with TWINS! I'm so excited about this, I am going to go visit her after the babies are born and just cannot wait!

I am not able to attend her baby shower but I made her this adorable shaker card! It turned out way better than I had hoped! I love it and hope she will love it too!

Thank you and See you next time!

You're Dino-mite! - Lawnscaping and SSS Wednesday

Got a new Lawn Fawn stamp set so I decided to use it for the Lawnscaping sketch challenge. . .

I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies for all three of the panels. I stamped the dinosaur in LF Plastic Flamingo ink and water colored with DI Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I added glossy accents to the flower and a single shaker bead to the middle. I used a gold foil washi tape for the diagonal lines and added some sequins.

I think this card turned out very cute! And what better way to make something girly, than by making it pink and adding a flower!
