Seasons Greetings - Doodles Paper Playground

Seasons Greetings

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I stamped my images and colored them with copic markers and cut them out with my Scan n Cut.

I used the flying banner stamp from the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple set
to give the banner the special end so that it would look like it was
being pulled by the plane.
I used sentiments from Lawn Fawn Winter Scripty Sayings on the banners.

Then I cut all my base pieces.

I put together my cloud panels and placed it on my base layer and attached it to my card base.

I used a single layer of foam tape to place the banner and plane.

To finish the card I added a lot of snowflakes and
sequins from the Snow Cool Sparkle Blend from Doodle Paper Playground.

I love how there are several different sized snowflakes in this blend.
There are more great Sparkle Blends and a large assortment of items for
all your crafty projects over at White Rose Crafts!

I made two versions of this card. . . .
from now until Christmas I will be making at least
two cards when they are Christmas themed.
I want to be able to send out quite a few this year and really need to get on it.

Merry Christmas Santa

Merry Christmas Santa

I needed to make a larger card because I send my sons school picture out at Christmas and his grand parents get a 5x7

My dies don't work with a 5x7 so I had to trim my base panel with my paper cutter but was able to use my oval die for my top panel.

I stamped this Santa from Strawberry Jude Stamps Note It: Letter to Santa. I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers and put a little wink of Stella on the white part of his hat.

Then I use a sentiment from Tag It: Christmas.
That was it!

Very quick and easy card!

Christmas Series - Merry Christmas - March

Hello!

I have decided that this year I was going to try to do my Christmas cards through out the year. I sent a lot less cards than I wanted to because I waited till the last minute and just couldn't make enough cards. For 2017 I am going to be doing a set of Christmas Cards each month. . .

Here is my set for March. . . .

For my March cards I did some resist embossing. I took water color paper and double stamped one of the frame stamps from the Strawberry Jude Stamp set tag It: Christmas. I used Versamark and clear embossing powder. After I heat set that I used my watercolors and  covered the panel in different shades of green.

After the water coloring dried I took the Merry Christmas sentiment form the set and stamped it in a dark green. Then I die cut it with an stitched oval from Lawn Fawn.

For my base panel I have these white papers that are embossed with a design, I picked one that kinda looked Christmas-y and used the largest LF stitched rectangle die to die cut it. I attached my green oval to the front. I dug through my Christmas decoration stickers and found some embellishments to put on the front!

I like how these ones turned out. . . I actually had to do the green part twice. The first time I tried to use a glittery embossing powder but it didn't work out that well!
