You're Super Awesome - Doodles Paper Playground

Super Awesome

For this I put everything right on the card base.
I used a star die cut to create a stencil so that I could use
Distress Oxides to make a star background.
I used the same distress oxides to make splatter.

I heat embossed the pinata from Lawn Fawn Year 7
and colored it with copic markers.
For my sentiment I used Lawn Fawn set and Whimsy stamps,
stamped with matching Distress Oxide.

I used Lawn Fawn Star Border dies to create my shaker element.

For this card I used Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blend in Lilac Luster
I love all the great shades of purple in this mix.

Seasons Greetings - Doodles Paper Playground

Seasons Greetings

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I stamped my images and colored them with copic markers and cut them out with my Scan n Cut.

I used the flying banner stamp from the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple set
to give the banner the special end so that it would look like it was
being pulled by the plane.
I used sentiments from Lawn Fawn Winter Scripty Sayings on the banners.

Then I cut all my base pieces.

I put together my cloud panels and placed it on my base layer and attached it to my card base.

I used a single layer of foam tape to place the banner and plane.

To finish the card I added a lot of snowflakes and
sequins from the Snow Cool Sparkle Blend from Doodle Paper Playground.

I love how there are several different sized snowflakes in this blend.
There are more great Sparkle Blends and a large assortment of items for
all your crafty projects over at White Rose Crafts!

I made two versions of this card. . . .
from now until Christmas I will be making at least
two cards when they are Christmas themed.
I want to be able to send out quite a few this year and really need to get on it.

Thanks - Doodles Paper Playground

Thanks

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I decided to use this mandala stamp from Sugar Pea Designs.
I stamped it on some watercolor paper and colored it with Mission Gold watercolors.

I used black for my top panel.
I die cut a circle in the middle, added my acetate and a double layer of foam.

I attached the base paen to the card and laid out my sequins.
Then I added the top panel.

I decided to add a foiled thanks die cut to my card.
First I used a large piece of scor-tape that I placed on the front of
the paper I used for my die cut.
Then I removed the backing paper and placed my foil on t
op and burnished really well. . .
It was the first time I actually did this and think that it turned out great!!!

To complete the card I added a few sequins from a couple
other mixes, Be-leaf in Yourself and Very Cranberry,
to match the colors of the card.

For this card I used the Sparkle Blend Fairy Dust from
Doodles Paper Playgrounds.

Trick or Treat - Doodles Paper Playground

Trick or Treat

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I started with die cutting my base panels with Lawn Fawn dies.

I used my mini Misti to stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Trick Or Treat set.
I stamped it so that it would show though the window of the shaker.
I added the base panel to the card base.

I measured out my sequins and added the acetate to my top panel and
the double layer of foam tape.

After I placed the top panel on I felt like the card still needed a little bit more.
I die cut this web and dangly spider using Lawn Fawn Cute Cobweb.
To finish the card I added some sequins to the front.

For this card I used the Sparkle Blend Trick or Treat from
Doodles Paper Playgrounds new August release.

I am really loving the flat glitter sequins and this mix
has ghosts, pumpkins and festive fimo pieces like jack o lanterns, scary eyes and candy corns!!!!!

Thanks A Bushel - Doodles Paper Playground

Thanks A Bushel

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

For this card I wanted to do a blended back ground with a stencil.
I used water color paper and taped my stencil on top of my base panel.

I use Distress Oxide colors that reminded me of cranberries to go with my sequins mix.
Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick and Tattered Rose

I flicked some perfect pearl water on my panel and also added some gold flecks with gold paint.

I stamped my images from the Lawn Fawn Thanks A Bushel set on the same watercolor paper.
I colored them with Zig Clean Color markers.
I used the Lawn Fawn Slide On Over circles for my shaker frame.

I added my base panel to my card base and stamped the sentiment from the same set.

I used the same die to cut circles from fun foam for my shaker well.
I measured out my sequins and added the shaker window.

I added two layers of the foam to my images so they would be the same height as my shaker.
I finished the card by adding a few sequins from the mix to the front of the card.

For this card I used the Sparkle Blend Very Cranberry from the new release - Available Today!!

I am really loving the flat glitter sequins!
They are my favorite new addition to the sparkle blends this release!
