Adventure - Doodles Paper Playground

Adventure

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

My images are from My Favorite Things Warm and Fuzzy Friends set.
I colored them with mission gold water colors on water color paper.

For my base panel I also used watercolor paper and used a
small rectangle die to cut my windows.
I splattered colors that matched my sequin mix on the top panel.

I added my images. . . .

I used a single layer of foam tape for this card.

I added my sentiment. . .

And a few sequins to the front of the card.

I used the Copper Penny Sparkle Blend for this card.
I love the browns, oranges and greens in this mix!

Hap-Pea Birthday! - Doodles paper Playground

Hap-Pea Birthday!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

For this card I used the Be Hap-Pea set from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped the images with copic friendly ink and colored them using
copic markers G43, YG17, G46 and YG67

I love adding faces to these cute little peas. . . So Cute!!

I die cut my base panels. . .

Stamped my sentiment and some decor on the top panel. . . .

Layered my two bottom panels. . .

I wanted these happy peas to be inside the shaker.
I used my top panel that that I could please my peas in the correct spot.
I used a single layer of foam adhesive.

I then laid out my sequins and added the top panel
with a double layer of foam tape.

I took one of the pea pods form the set and added a few more
happy peas and added that to the front of the card.

I love how this card turned out!!

I used the May Birthstone Collection Sparkle Blend.
Green is my favorite color and I love the cool shards and mini beads in this mix!

Hello - Magic Picture Changer

Chameleon Hello

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I used the magic picture changing die from Lawn Fawn
to create my color changing chameleon.
I used ink blending and masking to create the two images
and then die cut the pieces out.

Here is the assembled sliding image.
I used the add-on frame and some Spiffy Speckles paper.

For the bottom portion of my card I did some ink blending
and die cut some banners so they would match my colored chameleon
and die cut a scalloped circle.

I placed my banners and die cut circle. . .

Placed the picture changer at the top and then added my die cut sentiment. . .

I added matching sequins from two different Sparkle Blends, Copper Penny and Springtime, to the front of the card to help tie all the colors together!

I am using this card in the following challenges:

Birthday Wishes - Doodles Paper Playground

Birthday Wishes

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I die cut my window in my top panel

I used my mini misti to position this mandala stamp from sugar pea designs.
Then I removed the panel and put in a sheet of embossable acetate.

I just used clear versa mark.
I think it turned out great and cannot wait to try this technique again!

I placed my embossed acetate on the back of the front panel.

I used a single layer of foam tape on the back of the panel.
I laid out my sequins. . .

I was afraid that you wouldn't be able to see the sequins
through the embossing but I think it looks just fine!

I die cut this little banner and stamped a sentiment on it.

I placed it on the card with a single layer of foam tape.

To finish the card I added a few sequins to the front.

I used the Rosy Gold Sparkle Blend
I like the pinks and purples with the light gold color. . .
