Thanks Shaker Card - Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

Thanks Shaker Card

Yay for pre-colored images!
This card was quick to put together!

I started by getting all my pieces die cut out. My flower is an image from Strawberry Jude stamps that I had already colored and cut, ready to go. My sentiment is a die from Create a Smile.

I added double layer of foam to my shaker window. I placed my sequins on my card front so that I could easily place my shaker panel on top. For this card I used the Green with Envy mix from Doodles Paper Playground. This mix has these little cup flowers in them that I think are just so cute!! It also has like four different fimo shapes in it which I love!

I put my image to the side so that all my pretty sequins could be seen and added my sentiment to the top.

I love how this card looks, I love the green sequins on the blue back ground and the yellow sentiment, that all get tied together with the blue and yellow flowers!

Avocado Box Card - Beth Duff Designs

I'm the Good Kind of Fat

EEK! I love this card sooo much!

I have been buying lots of patterned paper lately and when I saw this paper I knew that I had to use it with this image from Beth Duff Designs recent creative design team call.
I printed the image out and colored it with my copic markers.

I used the pop up box card die from Lawn Fawn to create my box card!

I put the box together and decided that I was going to put my avocado in some clouds.
I used clear acetate to add a few floating stars also!

I also got some washi tape that matched the paper and decided to use that for my sentiment. There were three sentiments on the washi, I thought this one was the cutest! I placed the washi on some white card stock and used this banner die to cut it out and create a banner edge on both sides.

This digi stamp will be available during

Rock N Roll Lunch Note Cards - Strawberry Jude Stamps

Rock N Roll Lunch Note Cards - Strawberry Jude Stamps

Ok, So I have been wanting to make these since the first time I saw this set!

Yesterday my son asked if I had put a note in his lunch and I had to tell him no. . . I realized I had yet to make these note cards for his lunch!

They were super easy and took like no time at all and are super cute!

So I had some images already stamped and colored.
Whenever I am leisurely crafting I always try to stamp and color extra images. . .
It is so nice to have things on hand ready to put on a card!

I have these little note cards that are 3x3, perfect to put in a lunch box!
I have bought a lot of patterned paper lately, I looked through my stash and found 4 perfect patterns!

I cut the squares at 2 3/4 so that there was a little bit of a boarder on the card.

I attached an image to each card front and stamped a little sentiment on the inside with plenty of room for me to add a little note later. . . .

I think these turned out great and know they are going to be a great hit!

You Are Out Of This World - Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

You Are Out Of This World - Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

I have been addicted to buying patterned paper lately.

I saw this paper and thought it would make a great background for a galaxy card!

I decided to use Lawn Fawn's Out Of This World stamp set. I colored the images with copic markers and use the matching dies to cut them out.

I cut out my shaker frame by using some nesting dies. I wanted to put my spaceman inside the shaker but wanted him to stay suspended and not get lost. I made an extra cut of the space man and used it to create a backing to my image so that I could attach him to a piece of clear fishing line. I put the ends of the line in between the foam layers at the top and bottom of the card.

Time for sequins! I added my base panels to my card and then put my pile of sequins in the middle. I used the Silver Lining Sparkle Blends for this card. I am a silver girl at heart and love that this mix has stars and some micro beads, perfect for space card!

I used a sentiment form the stamp set and white heat embossed it on some black paper. I die cut it out using a banner die.
I added the sentiment and some planets to the front of the card.

You're My Lucky Charm - Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

You're My Lucky Charm - Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends

Happy March!
This is one of my favorite months because green is my favorite color!
I used the Sparkle Blends Test Your Luck on this card.
It has several shades of green in it, seed beads, micro beads and some fimo cut outs! I love when sequin mixes throw in those cute little extras!

I started by cutting my base panels and stamping my sentiment

I used the My Luck Charm set from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped my clovers and colored them with copic markers. G43 and G46.

I then decided that I wanted to add another base layer to my card so I trimmed down my top panel. I did trim it just a little to much making that bottom window not really usable. I figured my sentiment would cover most of the window anyways so no big deal.

I put my shaker together. It kinda looks like a crazy hot mess!
Good thing it is on the back and no body sees it!

I added my top panel to the base and attached my sentiment banner and clovers to the front. I added a few sequins to the sentiment banner and top of the card.

After getting everything all together I realized I could have still made my bottom window into a shaker because the sentiment banner would have covered the foam.

You are Awesome - Strawberry Jude Stamps

You are Awesome

Hello!
For this card I decided to use Awesome Memes, I love the ladies in this set!

I decided to use watercolor paper for my decorative base ob this card. I love how it is thick and sturdy. I planned on using Zig Clean Color Markers and it's great to use to be able to spread around the color with a water brush.

As I went to color her dress I realized that I didn't know what the rest of my card was going to look like! I dug through my paper stash and found this patterned paper. To me this totally screamed 50's, a perfect match to my awesome lady! I decided to match her dress to the purple in the paper.

I adhered my bases to my card front and added a few glitter enamel dots!
This card has a very retro feel to me and I just love it!

I am entering this card in the following challenge:
