We Go Together Like. . .

Peas and Carrots!

I got this great sentiment set from Craftin Desert Divas Perfect Pair - full of cute couples! I choose the peas and carrots to go with the linky party theme this week.

I used Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies for my panels, one in watercolor paper and the larger one from a piece from the Lawn Fawn Beach Side petite pack.

I used my cricut explore to cut out the peas and carrot out of white watercolor paper. I then colored the images with Distress Inks. I splattered them with some perfect pearl water. I heat embossed clear powder on the carrot top and added lines with a black gelly roll pen. I used a white gelly roll pen on both the carrot and the peas for a little highlight.

I used the same Distress Ink colors to create a watercolor background. I also splattered that with some perfect pearl water and flicked the colors for color spots. I stamped the sentiment with Lawn Fawn Walnut ink and added some Doodlebug glitter enamel dots to finish.

I think this card is just great!
