Make a Wish

Make A Wish

I decided to make a shooting star card and I love how it turned out!

I cut two of my top panels out of basic white card stock, I cut two so that when I create my sliding track you will be able to see the second panel through the cut. I stamped them with Lawn Fawn Starry Backdrops and white heat embossed. I then used Distress ink to give me a night time sky color.

I took the birthday sentiment from LF Year Six and the Make a Wish from Craftin' Desert Divas Magical Wishes and stamped them in LF new Blue Jay ink. I just got a mini Misti, it is so great! I used it to stamp this sentiment and was able to double stamp it to get a great solid image.

I added the moon from the Starry Backdrops and a few die cut stars, both covered in Mercury glass stickles. I absolutely love this color!!!!

I used a LF Lawn lawn ornament wood veneer star and some strips of vellum to create my shooting star. I covered both with clear Winks of Stella pen for that shimmer. I used LF Slide Over die set to create my sliding track for my star. I placed everything on a base panel of LF Blue Jay paper.

See it in action:
