Craftin' Desert Divas - In the Garden

Craftin' Desert Divas - In the Garden

I used the rose with leaves from the Flowers in Bloom stamp set in the Craftin' Desert Divas new release, those flowers were just so pretty! I also got the SVG outlines, I hate to fussy cut and have an Explore so thought that I would give them a try. I did two trial cuts to get the amount of outline I wanted on the stamp, I also had to stamp it after I cut it out, not as bad as I thought it was going to be. (If anybody else has an Explore and they are able to stamp then cut please let me know! I think I see a Scan and Cut in my future! ) I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die for my base panel.

I stamped them with Versa Mark and heat embossed with white. Then I used Peerless Water Colors to color the flower and attached with foam dots. I picked matching colors from Distress Ink to flick color for the background. I used Samantha font for my words and cut them from adhesive vinyl to easily transfer to my card. I cut a piece of vellum to go behind the flowers and added a little yellow twine to the side and finished with doodle bug glitter enamel dots.

For this one I added ribbon and used some stickles on the middle rose.

I think these turned out great! I was really happy with how the SVGs cut, will definitely get those with my stamps from now on if offered.

Thank you and see you next time!
