Sunflowers
Two challenges this week were for a non card item. I made this for my sister-in-law who loves sunflowers.
I picked up the board from Target, put a dark walnut stain on it and brushed a light yellow paint on top. I did sand the edges a little bit for a more distressed look.
I glittered the inside of the jar and attached it to the board by screwing a hose clamp to the board. I hot glued the flowers into the jar to keep them in place.
I used my explore to cut out the word home and applied it to the board.
This project went as expected, I had a little trouble attached the hose clamp and next time I would use a smaller jar.
