MOM

Mother's Day is Here!

I used my explore and cut the two images, Flower from the wrap it up cartridge and MOM from Cricut font and Basic Shapes, from white watercolor paper except for the mom background. I used distress ink on all the images and splattered the flower outline with perfect pearl water. I also added some clear wink of Stella to the leaf accents.

For the background I used Lawn Fawn Stripey Backdrop Die on black paper and added black, white, iridescent and pink sequins.

I really like this card, I thought it turned out really great and love the color against the black and white background.

I am entering this card in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Mothers Day and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes this week so every card I make this week will be entered into that as well.

You're Dino-mite! - Lawnscaping and SSS Wednesday

Got a new Lawn Fawn stamp set so I decided to use it for the Lawnscaping sketch challenge. . .

I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies for all three of the panels. I stamped the dinosaur in LF Plastic Flamingo ink and water colored with DI Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I added glossy accents to the flower and a single shaker bead to the middle. I used a gold foil washi tape for the diagonal lines and added some sequins.

I think this card turned out very cute! And what better way to make something girly, than by making it pink and adding a flower!

Little Red Wagon - April Showers

Little Red Wagon - April Showers

Started with Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies for all three panels, I am addicted to these things! It's great that they have a size that covers the front and that the dies fit within each other nicely. . . .

I used Lawn Fawn Sunny Skies for the clouds, stamped in LF Fish Tank and added some Distressed Ink in Chipped Sapphire, umbrella from LF Plus One stamp set and colored it in with Zig Clean Color markers,  rain drops from LF Hello Baby and the Sentiment is from LF Treat Yourself stamped in Fish Tank.  I used a white gelly roll pen to added accents tot he clouds and dots to the umbrella.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Let's Do The Polka!

Simon Says Stamp  Wednesday Challenge - Let's Do The Polka!

The challenge this week was showcasing Lawn Fawn. . . . . . Got that!

I used the Lawn Fawn Hello Baby stamp set, stitched rectangle die, oval stitched dies, grassy border die and Let's Polka Paper. Lawn Fawn Plastic Flamingo and Fish Tank Ink were used for the sentiments.

Everything was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Black ink, and colored with Zig Clean Color markers. I used coordinating dies to cut them out, I dislike fussy cutting very much!

I used glue dots to apply the sequins, they are such a life saver!

I did one in blue and one in pink, cuz you never know!

MFT Card Challenge - Wednesdays Sketch Challenge # 276

MFT Card Challenge - Wednesdays Sketch Challenge # 276

Here is Sketch # 276

My Card. . . .

My sentiment and little bear are both from the MFT Warm $& Fuzzy Friends stamp kit that came in the March card kit. I colored the bear with Zig Clean Color markers and put a little perfect pearl and glossy accents on the fish.

The brown wood grain background paper also came form the kit, as did the first blue layer. I used Lawn Fawn Ocean Wave border dies on my water and layered them. Added some blue sequins for some sparkle!

I am really looking forward to the next MFT card Kit, suppose to some out tonight at midnight!

Craftin' Desert Divas - Shake it UP

Craftin Desert Divas

My Card. . . .

I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies to die cut my panels, to create the top border for the shaker window I used two dies in size order and die cut at the same time to get just the border.

I used the Craftin Desert Divas Stamp set So Long, I just love this little giraffe! I stamped him on my top panel and then flicked Distress ink for a background, I also decided to flick ink on the shaker background so that it wouldn't be flat.

I then colored the giraffe in with the same colors. I actually ended up not liking the original giraffe so I stamped a second one, colored it in and then fussy cut it and put it on top of the one I didn't like. EW. I HATE fussy cutting, there is a reason I get the matching dies. . . .

I cut a little speech bubble for the sentiment. I used some seed beads and 4 different colors of sequins in the shaker. I put a few on the front to tie it all together.

I really like this card, even though I had problems with my first giraffe, it turned out exactly how I had imagined it.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #274 - Babies

Here is the card I created for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #274 - Babies

I have a Cricut Explore and used the Blocks image from the 9 Months Cartridge.

I started my panel with a die cut from Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies.

I cut the block outlines out about 8 times so that I could stack them in order to make this a shaker card. I glued them together with Zig 2 way glue pen. Once they dried I attached the stack to the card base with fast drying glue pen.

I used 1/8" scor-tape to attach a piece of acetate to the back of the top block outline and I scooped in some shaker beads and some sequins that coordinated with the letter for each block. I placed a few sequins on the card front as well and as a finishing touch I put gold stickles all around the edge.
