I was perusing YouTube and came across this video by Kathy from the Daily Marker and her super cute halo water coloring. . . .  I was instantly inspired so decided to do a card of my own!

I started by cutting my base panel out of some Canson Watercolor paper. I used the Be Still Peonies from Strawberry Jude Stamps for my image. I started by masking of my stamp and stamping part of the smaller stamp, layered the smaller stamp on top of that and then added the large stamp to the side. I don't do a lot of masking with my stamping so I was really glad that this turned out as it did. 

I used my Zig clean color real brush markers and a water brush to color the image first. Then I created the halo effect. . . . my image was kinda of all in one place so I faded the color out instead of filling in my whole card. 

For my sentiment I used a die from Create a Smile. . . It is one of my favorites. I also die cut it out of watercolor paper and used the same marker that I used for my halo so that it would match perfectly. I did a water wash over it so that it wouldn't be to dark. 

I added Wink of Stella to the flowers and to my sentiment and finished the card with a few sequins.

I love how this card turned out, I absolutely love it!

I started this card by die cutting my two base panels.

I used blue and grey distress ink to do a little ink smooshing on the white panel. . . . I don't know why, I am horrible at ink smooshing!

I used Strawberry Jude Stamp sets Don't Forget to Explore: States and Don't Forget to Ride for my sentiment and decoration. I used a black Micron pen to add the dashed line.

I adhered my stamped panel to my base panel and added a few silver sequins.I think this would be a great card for someone who is moving or going on a trip. . . .

I used Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies for both my base panels, the base panel for this card is kind of a metallic pink paper and my second panel is from the same paper pack so it is a matte pink with the metallic stripes.

I used a scalloped circle die from Craftin' Desert Divas to die cut the white circle and used some picked raspberry and abandon coral distress ink to splatter on the edge. I used the flamingo from Strawberry Jude Stamps Stand Tall. I colored the flamingo using Prismacolor colored pencils. I added a happy birthday sentiment die from Lawn fawn and a few black matte sequins.

I made this card using a digi stamp from Craftin Desert Divas, Cool Summer. I uploaded it into my Silhouette Portrait, printed it and them cut it out. I colored it using copic markers and used a grey glitter pen on the glasses.

I took a piece of distress watercolor card stock and used tumbled glass for the sky portion then I used the cloud stamps from Strawberry Jude stamps Rainbows and Roses stamp set. I used a wave border die and cut a post it note and used it as a stencil to apply the salty ocean distress ink for the water. I distressed it with some water flicks and dabbed it off. After that dried I added my sentiment.  

I cut my slider track into the panel using Lawn Fawns Slid eon Over dies. I attached my rhino to a penny through the track for my sliding mechanism. I attached the panel to my card front using a double layer of foam tape so that my penny would slide freely. I finished my card by adding some enamel dots.

This little rhino is super cute and I love my background with those clouds!
