Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

I started this card by die cutting two panels from the Lawn Fawn diagonal die cut panel. I flipped one over and put them together to get the lattice pattern.

I used the stamp set Be Still Peonies from Strawberry Jude stamps for my flower. I stamped and clear embossed the image on watercolor paper and used watercolors on the image. I then fussy cut the image out and attached it the card front.

I created the two layer banner and stamped the sentiment from SJS Rainbows and Roses. I tucked the end of the banner behind the leaf on the flower.

That's it! Pretty simple and I love how this looks!

Make Today Magical

Make Today Magical

For this card I die cut my white panel and used a cloud embossing folder.

I stamped and colored a rainbow and a few clouds from SJS Rainbows and Roses and a cute little Pegasus from SJS Unicorns and Sparkles. I used Copic markers on the Pegasus, colored pencils and gamsol on the rainbow and put some glitter stickles on the clouds. I used my silhouette to cut the images out.

I white heat embossed the sentiment from SJS Unicorns and Sparkles. I placed it on the card and then added a rainbow of sequins to match the rainbow on the card.

This card came out just like I hoped it would!

Breathe

Breathe

I die cut a watercolor panel and used Versamark ink and pearl embossing powder on this flower image from the set Be Still Peonies from Strawberry Jude Stamps. I used watercolors to color the image.

I cut a grey panel that matches my card base and used a LF border die to give it the scalloped edge. I used the sentiment from the SJS set and white heat embossed it, I attached it to my watercolor panel using foam tape for some dimension on my card.

I added a few grey and pink sequins for a little sparkle.

I think this sentiment is good for anybody who would be going through
some things and needed a little support.

Treat Yo'self Spinner Card

Treat Yo'self Spinner Card

I think this card would be perfect for anytime you plan on giving a gift card.
You can customize to fit whoever you are going to be giving it to!!

I started by die cutting my top panel, spinner wheel and a spinner wheel template.

I started by figuring out where I wanted to place my spinning wheel. I folded my circle template in half both ways to get the center of the circle and popped a hole in the middle. I lined it up with my spinner wheel and punched a hole through the spinner wheel, perfect way to get the hole in the middle without folding my wheel. I then positioned the wheel on the top panel and pushed a hole through that as well. now my card will line up perfectly.

I placed the circle die that I am going to use for my window on the card front and cut it out.

I attached my wheel to the back of the panel using a brad. I drew on horizontal and vertical lines on the back of the wheel so that I could see how far to turn it. Through the front I traced the circle and marked the bottom of the circles so that my images would be right side up.

I used the Don't Forget Lady Stamp set. I used the shoe, little black dress, make up and lingerie for my four items. I used my mini misti and also decided to clear heat emboss them. I added some color around the edges with some distress ink and some color to the images using copics.

I stamped my sentiments in black and reassembled the wheel to the card front. I die cut a notch in to the bottom of the card base and trimmed it down about a 1/4 inch. Then I added a strip of dark grey glitter paper and added a notch. I did this to help draw attention to the spinner. I attached the panel to the card base. Be careful not to tape down the wheel.

I went to add some red and black sequins and then realized that I had a green brad in the middle of my card! So to cover this up I colored the brad black with a Copic marker - when I did this I put a little scrap paper under the edge of the brad so that I wouldn't mess up my card. . . .If I had thought about it I would have colored it before putting the card together.

Make Today Enchanting!

Make Today Enchanting!

I  stamped both of my images from Strawberry Jude Stamp set Unicorns and Sparkles. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out with my silhouette.

For the base panel I used a Lawn Fawn puffy Cloud border die to create a background. I used three different shades of blue distress to make the layers clearly visible. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom panel and then attached the pieces with the cloud border to it.
I trimmed the sides down  a 1/4 of an inch. I  used glitter washi tape on each side of my card base to add some sparkle to this card. I added my images a few iridescent sequins.

This card turned out better than I had imagined!
