You are Awesome

Always Remember You are Awesome

I wanted to water color some of these crystals. I stamped them on black paper and did white heat embossing to use with my iridescence paints and watercolor paper for  my regular watercolors.

So, since I love layers, I decided to make two layering black base panels and have my top panel be white. I stamped my mix and match sentiment on my top panel and colored my little Pegasus with a wink of Stella glitter marker and use some Zig Clean Color Markers for the mane and tail.

I then adhered it to my base and added my crystals, I didn't use them all though,
when I colored them I still didn't know what I would be doing with them.
It's ok because now I have pre-colored crystal for a future card!

Simon Says Stamp Blue Monochrome - Thanks

Simon Says Stamp Blue Monochrome - Thanks

I love this card sooooooooo much!

For the back ground I used the SSS Kaleidoscope background stamp.
I heat embossed it with some pearl embossing powder and then used
Mission Gold watercolors on it.

Since the SSS Monday challenge is Monochrome,
I used Lawn Fawn paper in Blue Jay for my base panel to stay with the blue theme. . . .
I used a SSS Painted Thanks die for my sentiment and used the same Lawn Fawn paper.

I added a few clear Neat and Tangled Sequins with some blue stickles in the middle for some sparkle.

This card will be entered in the following challenges:

Halloween is in the Air

Halloween is in the Air

I started this card by trimming down this black and white striped paper for my base panel.

I took a smaller water color panel and used the traditional Halloween colors. . . . I topped it with some FineTec Iridescent watercolors to give it some shimmer.

I used the Jack O' Layers set and stamped out this great Jack O' Lantern.
I decided to used shades of grey for this one.

I layered up my panels and added my sentiment from the Love is in the Air set. I cut the word Halloween from some adhesive vinyl and added that above my stamped sentiment.

I also used the Don't Forget Fall set to add the corner spider webs and creepy little spiders! I love those! I then added a few black enamel dots to finish up the card.

I'd Roast Marshmallows

I'd Roast Marshmallows

I started this card by using my mini misti and stamping out the Mallow layering set from Strawberry Jude Stamps. This set is actually pretty easy to use and give you some great images! After stamping them I fussy cut them out.

I decided I wanted some glitz on my card so I found a silhouette file for the fire and covered it in matching glitter. . . quite a mess!

I die cut my banner and used white heat embossing powder on my sentiment.

I die cut a base panel from an embossed black card stock and put my glittery fire at the base. I attached both my sentiment banner and my roasted marshmallows with foam tape. I added some matching sequins to my sentiment banner and since my fire is all glittery I added a few black matte sequins to the card.

I loved how this turned out!
